I went to school with a Leon Cannaday of Boonesmill Virginia area. Perhaps you can check any links to be found in that area. He is passed away now, he died in a drowning accident during a flood. There is a store in Boonesmill area known as Cannaday's. Leon's father owned this establisment. I believe it is still there. Hope this small amount of information helps.
