He married Katherine Sally LeSueur b. 8/8/1809, they married 1844 in Franklin County, Va. no known children. Katherine is the daughter of Martel LeSueur of Manakin Town, Va. (A French Huguenot Settlement) and Elizabeth Bacon LeSueur. After John's death Katherine Sally LeSueur Lavinder married Gabriel Bolling (Bowling), they married in 1849 in Franklin County, Va., no known children. Questions: I am searching for proof of John Lavinder's 1st wife Mary Depity, I can find no marriage record or source that verifies her name. However in Manikan Town, Va. their was a large family of Dupre, French Huguenots. I would like to know the Lavinder researcher's opinion on John's 1st wife, any info on her I would appreciate.
