Franklin Co, VA Deed Book #7, page 133 Know all men by these Presents that we Joseph Swinney and Phebe Swinney of Franklin County Virginia do for the love and affection which we bear to Prudence Belcher, Polley Warwick and Amey Cook Daughters of the said Phebe and in further consideration of five Dollars to us in hand paid by the aforesaid Prudence, Polley and Amey the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged give and bequeath to the aforesaid Prudence, Polley and Amey after the death of the said Phebe Swinney all the Estate which we are in possession of that is not bound by the Will of Francis Belcher Deceased, towit, horses, cattle and hogs, with all our household and Kitchen furniture plantation tools and utensils Vc Vc our present crop we give to Prudence Belcher to them and their heirs forever free from the claim or right of any person or persons whatsoever.
