Dorothy and Bill, Thank you both for the lookup for Mary Stewart. Bill, I have another question on these Birds. Apparently, there were two sets of Birds--the first set show in the 1786 Property Tax lists, and resided on the Franklin Co/Henry Co border... was Henry Co. also formed from Bedford Co? The second set of Birds arrived about 1810 in Franklin Co from Bedford County. But I'm not sure that they were related to the first set, but I'm assuming they traveled perhaps 40 miles to get there. How do I go about finding out where these Birds (especially the 1st set) originated? Are there any records in existence prior to the 1786 Tax list? If so, where would I write?
