I live in Florida and always read about Franklin County on the rootsweb site. I feel akin to Franklin County because part of my roots are there. My great grandfather Joseph Franklin Doss was born there about 1827. I lost him somewhere between 1860 and 1865. I always look at the site hoping I can see something that would give me more information about him. I sincerely hope your genealogy and historical group members will be bonded together and continue to contribute to all of us who are looking for our families. I think I have missed seeing some of the conversations, so I don't know if a lack of a meeting place is the issue, or if there is something else involved. Anyway, please keep on keeping on.
