Hi. At this moment I only have time send this one item hoping it will help: Nov. 1, 1781, Deed from Samuel Gilbert of Washington County, to John Vest of Bedford County, for 63 pds, about 200 acres in Bedford Co., it being part of a tract of land formerly belonging to Samuel Gilbert Sr., deceased, and whereon the above said John Vest now lives, and lying on Seneca Cr, and bounded by lines of James Vest, John B. Hoy, Augustin Potter, John W. Gilbert. Witnesses: William Brown Sr., Augustin Potter, James Vest, Jno Webster Gilbert. Recorded June 6, 1782. My source is p. 5 of T.L.C. Genealogy, "Campbell County, VA Deeds, 1782-1784" wherein p.28 of Campbell Co. Deed Bk 1 is cited.
