Hello All! While researching the possible parents of my ggrandfather, Thomas SHELTON born est 1813 of VA who married Elisabeth ALLEN of NC in 1835, Patrick Co VA, I've looked closely at the family of Josiah SHELTON and Frances FORD who were living in Patrick Co VA - 1860 census- nearby Thomas and family. I find there was a Polly Edwards also in the household of Josiah and Frances in 1860, probably widowed. It seems that this was their daughter, Mary Ann SHELTON born abt 1802 who married William EDWARDS b 1798 of Franklin Co VA. I'm seeking anyone who links to or knows about this family. I find that Mary Shelton and William Edwards had children, America, George, Sarah, Elizabeth, and John all born between 1824 -1832 in Va. I believe that Mary "Polly" Shelton Edwards would be my gg-aunt. Others have listed various children for Josiah and Frances. I'd like to know what anyone has on daughter Mary. Thanks Debbie
