Hi Dan: In listing all the family names at the bottom of your e-mail of 11-26, I noticed in particular two names, MULLINS and BEHELER. In our search for the date and place of death for Joseph Franklin Doss (1827-circa 1867) those two families seemed to be in the same neighborhood as our Doss family. Have you run across the DOSS name? Joseph, my great grandfather, was born in Franklin County and married Eliza Bryant. Their children were Larkin Tyler, John Edmund, Junius Taylor, Mary Elizabeth, Joseph Lee, and Ona Elizabeth. On Joseph's marriage certificate, he wrote in "Jane" as his mother, but didn't include his father's name. His father must have died before their marriage, maybe in the Civil War. His wife, Eliza, didn't have her father's name on the paper, either, and we know he died not long before the wedding. Ruth Doss Hanley Merritt Island FL 32953
