Mornin' group! Well, I'm still interested in the 1870 Franklin Co. census. One point about this census - it has many pages that are not indexed in the state-wide index. I found one of my ancestors, John Kent Bernard, only by looking through page-by-page until I found him on a page that was very hard to read (the ink was very light). I'm wondering if compilers of this census depended on the state index, or if they went through each page of the census to determine residents. Leigh Blount
