I am searching Laura Frances Payne, born Jan. 30, 1865 in Franklin County, VA., she died Dec. 24, 1911 in North Carolina. Laura married John William "Jack" "Wyatt" Brown on Feb. 6, 1884 in Franklin County, VA. John W. AKA Jack, Wyatt Brown b. 8/14/1853 in Franklin County, Va. He was the son of Wyatt AKA Wiatt Brown and Jemima Hatcher Brown. Laura is the daughter of James Payne (Birth-Approx. 1840), his wife was Mary Abline unknown last name- I suspect her last name to be Forbes. James and Mary A. Payne children: Laura Frances Payne- above Mollie L. Payne b. abt. 1868 Robert G. Payne b. about 1873 in Franklin County, Va. married Eliza W. Wright 1/7/1891 in Franklin County , Va. Abbie J. Payne b. about 1875 married John T. Bowles 12/22/1890 in Franklin County, Va. (Source Information : Franklin County, Va.
