Bill: My John was born about 1740 in VA adn died before 1835 in NC. It appears he married about 1760, do not know county. It MAY have been Goochland???? Children: Susannah b- 1765/70 m- Martin Woody Sarah b- 1775-80 m- Henry Rowland/Roland George b- 1776 m- Susannah Woody Edward b- 1780 m??? Mary b- 1780-85 m- Wyatt Woody John went to NC in 1792 and returned to VA in 1798 to marry "childhood sweetheart" Susannah Woody. I have a Chancery Suit that was filed by John's siblings, which names the siblings and their children with married names. This was filed 1835 and names John deceased. That is the only info on his death, don't know where, but believe he died in NC. Any one have land deeds from about 1775-85? Apreciate any info and I will be glad to share my research. Margaret
