I sincerely hope someone can help me. I have two deeds of land given to John Robinson/Robertson in 1779 &1782. The land is on BLACKWATER RIVER, DEEP CREEK , MUDDY CREEK & PIGG RIVER. Can anyone locate these places? One deed is listed as "Pittsylvanis now Henry Co. on Pigg River". The other also Pittsylvania on both sides of Long Branch of Sycamore Creek, land near Thomas Robertson's land. My John's father was Thomas, so I am trying to place where John lived before he went to NC. Thank you Margaret Heinek
