VA. to Abraham Boon & Nancy Gerhart Died 6/20/1865, buried Peters Cemetery, no Headstone Married Martha Turner 2/21/1852 Records at Rocky Mount Courthouse, Ledger listing Military Allotments page 256, July 1863, Martha Boon. wife of Daniel Boone, 5 children $10 for 2 months. Jan. 1864 raised to $15. March 1864 $20. Oct. 1864 $20 to Martha Boon & Children. The Franklin County Historical said several times they would send some information but have not heard from them since March. The Grandkids need to know what their ancestors went thru. Thanks.
