Cousin Kathe, the specific Castleton we're referring to (Castleton/Casselton/etc.) WADE, was born in Goochland CoVA. It may have been a name from a place there, from another ancestor family friend that he was named after, or from a town in "the old country", I have no idea. Like you, I have wondered about that name and some other "unique" given names. Sorry I can't help. C. Thanks, Cousin Carolyn. It's just been one of those names that I think could reveal clues that I've thus far not been able to uncover.
