Gerald, The Susannah WADE who married John HALE in Franklin CoVA, in Mar 1789 was the daughter of John Utley WADE and Alice "Alley" WOODRUM/WIDROM m. Goochland CoVA 21 Oct 1763. To my knowledge the families are not related, but then "my knowledge" doesn't cover everything. Sorry.
