Irene: Rutherford Howell & Samuel A. B. Law are not found in "Nothing But Glory -- Pickett's Division at Gettysburg." I do however find an Amos B. Law listed as a member of Company "G" (AKA Ladies Guard) of the 57th VA Voluntary Infantry Regiment. Is this your Samuel A. B. Law? Nothing else is written about him. Company "G" enlisted 13 July 1861 at Sydnorsville, Franklin County, VA for 12 months, & was reorganized 7 May 1862. It was previously called Company "E," Keen's Battalion. Thanks for the query.
