    1. [VAFRANKL] Sinks at Gettysburg
    2. Jackie: I found three of the Sink surname, with ties to Franklin County, listed in the same company & the same regiment. The trio is found in the roster record of Company B, 24th VA Voluntary Infantry Regiment in the following manner: Sink, John H.(4th Corporal): Father was Mr. Otty Sink; the company initially reports him as missing in action and subsequently as "supposed killed" but there are no federal records concerning him; killed. Sink, Jessie: Enl 10 March 1862 at Gogginsville. Sink, William: Enl 3 March 18162 at Rocky Mount. Company B of the 24th VA Voluntary Infantry Regiment was organized at Gogginsville & Rocky Mount, Franklin County, VA 25 April 1861. It was mustered into service for one year at Lynchburg 23 May 1861 & was reorganized 10 May 1862. I hope this info is useful. Sincerely, Mike Peters npeters102@aol.com
