I found a few Wm. Turners mentioned in "Nothing But Glory -- Pickett's Division at Gettysburg." One had ties to Franklin County. William B. Turner is listed as a 1st Corporal in Company B, 24th VA Volunteer Infantry Regiment. Company B was organized at Gogginsville & Rocky Mount, Franklin County, VA 25 April 1861.
