    3. This is not a family I am researching but I found this will for Henry Woody, Sr. Found nothing for Susanna Martin who married Henry Woody other than her mention in this will. Source: "Franklin County, Virginia Wills, 1786-1812" by T.L.C. Genealogy Will Book 1 Page 359 Will. I, Henry Woody Sr of Franklin County, am very ill in body, but in full presence of mind. All my just debts are first to be paid. To my wife Susanna Woody - 3 Negroes I am now in possession of, during her natural life. Also 1 bay mare & 2 milk cows, to be kept on the place for her use, 1 bed & furniture, with part of the household & kitchen furniture. After her death, I allow the Negroes and their increase to be equally divided among my 4 daughters, viz, Judy Davis, Rebecca Whitworth, Sussanna Robertson, and Polly Bozzel. Also, my wife is to have her support on the plantation I now live on, during her natural life. To my sons John & Henry - the plantation whereon I now live, to be equally divided between them. To Martin John & Randolph & Henry after they pay my son Wyat 40 francs - my other property, my other property to be equally divided between them. Signed Nov. 11, 1807 - Henry (X his mark) Woody. Wit - Jon: Williamson, William Clay, Jr. I hereby appoint my sons Martin, John & Randolph, executors. They "are not to be ruled to security". At Franklin County Court of Dec. 7, 1807, this will of Henry Woody, deceased, was proved by the oath of both witnesses, and ordered recorded. On the motion of Martin Woody and John Woody, who, together with Jonathan Patterson & Burwell Rives, their securities, entered into bond in the penality of $2000, certificate is grantee them for obtaining letters of administration.
