His roster information is found on page 226 of the book "Nothing But Glory -- Pickett's Division at Gettysburg." It is as follows: Pugh, John J.: Enl. 3 August 1861 at Centreville. Company "C" enlisted 16 May 1861 at Mt. Zion, Campbell County, VA for one year.
