WE will be visiting Jackson Co., W VA; Franklin Co., and hopefully, Henry Co., Virginia this coming June any suggestions would appreciated. We are interested in Jabel Bowles, one of the pioneer settlers of the Parchment area in Jackson Co., formerly, Mason Co. Jabel's 1870 will being proved about 1 Nov 1875. He married the daughter of Nathaniel Mason and his mother married Nathaniel Mason in Franklin Co. His son, Martin, moved to Clay co. Indiana where my father-in-law [great grand son of Martin] grew up. The goal is to visit some of the areas that they lived in and fill in some of the data gaps. Many thanks, Jeannette Maxey
