    2. In a message dated 5/26/2005 6:48:34 A.M. Pacific Standard Time, [email protected] writes: <<I descend from Jerusha "Ruth" FRAZIER who, when she married, was said to be the daughter of Elizabeth BOWLES. (See WINGFIELD, Marshall, MARRIAGE BONDS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY VIRGINIA 1786-1858, p. 73: "DILLION, Joseph and Jerusha FRAZIER, dau. Elizabeth BOWLES, Feb. 5, 1831. Sur. Solomon KING.") I also have Elizabeth FRAZIER marrying Joseph BOWLES (See WINGFIELD, Marshall, MARRIAGE BONDS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY VIRGINIA 1786-1858, p. 42: "BOWLES, (BOLES) Joseph and Elizabeth FRAZIER, Oct 5, 1812. Sur. Geo. TURNER.">> I'm sure there's a connection here somewhere.... Looking at the surety bondsmen George Turner and Solomon King. Probable candidates would be: Solomon King b. 1795 d. 1835 was married to Elizabeth "Betsy" Turner b. 1804 d. 1894 d/o George Wilson Turner b. 1776 d. 1854. These people were alive when this bond was taken out, but there are also a few namesakes that are possible also. I don't have either bride or groom in my base. Good Luck, Dan Cook
