My names are Joseph Jarrell and Elizabeth (Martin?) Joseph Jarrell born abt 1829 I believe they were married in Floyd Co VA they are seen on the 1850 census record in Franklin Co.VA. and the 1860 Census records in Franklin Co.VA. Living next door to them were John Jarrell and Anney Martin married 1848 in Floyd Co VA.they have a son named John A.Jarrell abt 2 years old. Joseph Jarrell and Elizabeth (Martin?) had an America Jarrell living with them age 9 in the 1850 census record can find nothing on Amercia at all after that census record.I believe that Elizabeth and Anney were sisters and daughters of Matthew Martin in Franklin Co. VA. he was born abt.1773 died in Franklin Co. abt 1853 married Edith Staton abt1812.My Underwood connection is also through Misniah Cannaday and Samuel Underwood . Joseph and Elizabeth had Samuel Jarrell who married Martha Underwood descendant of the Samuel Underwoods they were married abt 1870 .Daughter of Samuel Underwood and Rebecca Hollins/Hol! land I have nothing on Rebecca except that here parents were John and Mary Hollins/Holland and that she was born in Montgomery or Floyd Co VA.So my names I am looking for info on are Jarrell,Holland or Hollins ,Cannaday,Martin and Underwood.Do not know who Matthew Martins father was or proof that Elizabeth and Anney were Martins married to Jarrells.Samuel ,Dennis and Lucinda Jarrell married Noah, Ellender, and Martha Underwood 3 sisters and brothers married 3 sisters and brothers.Samuel Dennis and Lucinda were sons and daughter of Joseph Jarrell and Elizabeth.Found a Civil War Pension at the library of va dated 1889 an Elizabeth Jarrold filed for her husbands pension says Joseph Jarrold died in 1863 in the Civil War I think that might be my Jospeh and Elizabeth as in the 1870 census record in Franklin Co Elizabeth is a widow.Thanks so much Gloria ~Wehali Usdi~<Look not at the Eyes but at the Soul>
