Dr. Vernon Lynch (I think his father was Harrison) is the grandson of the Vernon Lynch I was referring to. The oldest child I know about is Martha, born about 1887, then Sallie, Vernon, David, Thomas, Cabell, Beulah and Albert. I believe Vernon owned Lynch Farm Equipment in Rocky Mount and his son, Thomas Harrison Lynch, owned Lynch Funeral Home there. Hope this helps a little.
