Elizabeth Mary (Bettie) DIVERS at the home of her parents, Oliver Perry DIVERS and Ursula Gillianne DUDLEY, on 09 Sep 1872; she b. 9 Oct 1851, Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., d. 31 Mar 1927, West Milton, Miami Co., OH. Their Marriage license lists his parents as John and Polley (Mary) THOMAS of Bedford Co., but oral family tradition states he was adopted?????. Living in Snow Creek in 1910 census: Rocky Mount in 1880 census. Children: Eugene G. THOMAS m. Sallie May WOOD d/o John WOOD and Charity J. MULLINS Noah Monteville THOMAS m. Many of them moved to OH after 1913, possibly because of the TB or in search of other farm land. My husband descends from Eugene G. THOMAS. This is a composite of the basic info I have.
