Hello Jan, Yes, we have corresponded previously. I have an e-mail from you saved in my Thomas genealogy file. Ih that e-mail you said: "Hi; Searching for Thomas Tate Thomas b: 11 APR 1850 in Bedford Co. He m: Mary Elizabeth Divers 09 SEP 1872 in Franklin Co.; she d:31 MAR 1927. My biggest problem right now is Thomas Tate Thomas' birth town, birth parents and siblings. I can provide information about the Thomas line, especially Eugene G. to the present. Jan Thomas" I checked my FTM data and I do not have a Thomas Tate Thomas listed. Have you been able to make any headway with research on this line? I correspond with a couple of Thomas researchers who are working on the William Thomas line. His line is connected to a 1783 (or 84) land grant of about 300 acres on Maggotty Creek in the southern part of Bedford County (likely present day Franklin Co., VA). Let me see if they have anything on your Thomas Tate Thomas. See ya later, Bobby Thomas, Wake Forest, NC -----Original Message----- >From: Jan Thomas <textique@aol.com> >Sent: Mar 12, 2008 3:41 AM >To: vafrankl@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [VAFRANKL] [VAFRANJL] First Burial Marker > >Bobby; > >My husband's Thomas family is most probably from Bedford Co.
