We are seeking Henrietta DOBYNS born about 1859. Her parents were Thomas M. DOBYNS and Permelia Ann LEMON born 1834 and died 1859 , probably due to child birth. Henrietta's name was mentioned in her grandfather, Benjamin LEMON'S, will dated 1860. Thomas DOBYNS remarried after the death of Permelia. We would like to know what happened to Henrietta DOBYNS. Also........I note on a map, there is a community by the name of DOBYNS, VA about 5 miles west of Sturat in Patrick County. Does anyone know anything about how this was named "Dobyns"?
