I am looking for information on a surname that I found on a marriage certificate (dated Jan 25, 1872) in Floyd County, near Franklin County. The hand writing looks like MURRY, however it could be Murray or even Muncy. The given name was Catherine (age 18). What is confusing is that her parents where listed as just Margarate J. Justice. This has been a dead end for me for years and I would greatly appreciate and information concerning these names in the Floyd, Franklin County area. Ed W.
