Hi, I will be in Virginia next month and plan to do some family research while in the area. I have roots in Franklin, Bedford, and Henry counties. Could someone please tell me if there is a local courthouse in each of these areas where I could search for family records? Would i find wills, Marriage certificates, and other documents here, or are they held elsewhere? I have also read that there is a place in Danville, Va. that has a lot of information on the above Counties. Is this a better place to begin my search? Your suggestions are appreciated.
