    3. My Jubal Turner was born in 1793, Franklin Co, VA, he married 16 May 1818,Emily 'Milly' Ross, [b. 1797, Franklin Co., VA]. They are the parents of my Whitfield Ross Turner, b. 29 Apr 1819, Henry Co., VA, m. 12 Jan 1853, Franklin Co., VA, Martha Jane King. Martha Jane King, [b. 5 Dec 1830, Lynchburg, VA; was the daughter of Solomon King and Elizabeth Turner]. I have mistakenly used the Jubal Turner that was the son of Admire Turner. Believe very strongly this is wrong. I received a note, several years ago, that Admire Turner's son was born 1789. Also another descendent of my Jubal has been researching this problem. >From what I have learned and believe to be correct, our Jubal Turner was probably the son of a Richard Turner, b. abt 1770 in Bedford Co., VA, m. 19 Dec 1792, Rachel Ayers, [b. abt 1775]. If anyone can elaborate a little more on these two Jubal Turner's. I would appreciate it, also do not have a background on Rachel Ayer's, [daughter of a James Ayers, Sr., and wife Hannah ?]. Live in Oregon so will not be visiting, but do love genealogy. Thank you! Evelyn Alexander

    3. Does anyone have information about the family of Rev. John King from Henry Co. who was earlier in (probably) Pittsylvania or Brunswick counties? His daughter, Mary "Polly" King married Charles Jones in Henry Co. around 1790. Are these King's part of the Solomon King family? Thank you. ----- Original Message ----- From: EVELYN ALEXANDER To: VAFRANKL@rootsweb.com ; nct Sent: Monday, August 13, 2007 11:23 AM Subject: [VAFRANKL] (no subject) My Jubal Turner was born in 1793, Franklin Co, VA, he married 16 May 1818,Emily 'Milly' Ross, [b. 1797, Franklin Co., VA].
