Does anyone know the parents of Noah Lee HALE who m. Malinda SNEAD? The couple had numerous children, and many of their names are very familiar to my ear. I'm sure I've heard my parents speak of some of them as kinfolk. The children's names are: sons Curtis, Coy, Roy, Delbert, Amos Coolidge, Denard and Kermit; daughters Mittie (or Mattie?), Mary, Clara, and Ruth. Kermit, of Ferrum, VA, died on August 26, 2007, according to the Roanoke Times online obituary. On FamilySearch.com there is a Noah Lee HALE b. 27 Jan 1885, d. 05 May 1964, son of William Wiley HALE and Mary A HALE. I have William Wiley and Mary A. in my database, he as the son of David HALE and Sally Amanda GIBSON. This David is the son of my 2great-grandparents William N. HALE and Sarah Elizabeth "Betsy" WADE. Any information on parents of the Noah Lee who married Malinda SNEAD would be appreciated.
