Hi List, Does anyone have information on Smith Mountain Lake, Inc. The company was chartered in 1951 and existed until 1969. Some of the Franklin County residents were Guy Perdue, Vernon Lynch, G. B. Harrison, Claude Lumsden, J. F. Mason, Edward Booth, Gordon Preston and J. B. Allman. I think the intent was to provide recreational activities on about 1,000 acres of land. Anyone with info????
