My gg grandmother was Sarah Jane Rakes, daughter of Charles and Julia Rakes. I have no other info on the Rakes family. She married my gg grandfather James P. Scott Had brothers Charles, David and John. Sarah Jane was born 1864, married James P. Scott 1879. My father only spoke of two children , his father William Jackson Garfield Scott and an uncle Milton. However, there apprears to have been two other children, Mary A. E. and brother Calvin Scott, born between the two children William and Milton. Does anyone have knowledge of this family?
