I just found some archived messages from Neva & Carolyn discussing Nancy CANNADAY who married 1st, John WARD, and 2nd, James ALLEN. I happened to have a William ALLEN deed with all of their names in it, so I transcribed it. Don't know if it will be of any help, or if you already have it. I am stuck on a very old computer, so I don't know if this will come through looking like anything. I transcribed the deed from a photocopy. I did the best I could, not being an expert. I capitalized the last names so they would be easy to read. I tried not to change any spelling or punctuation, such as "[email protected]" this is the way it looked. Obviously, it means, "called."
