Irene, My grandmother was a Rakes and I have a large number of ancestor Rakes in my files, but have no Sarah Jane Rakes, Charles and Julia Rakes that I can find. I'll bet they are related somewhere. If you ever find some more ancestors of Sarah Rakes let us know because they may be connected to my line. Scott Had brothers Charles, David and John. Sarah Jane was born 1864, married James P. Scott 1879. My father only spoke of two children , his father William Jackson Garfield Scott and an uncle Milton. However, there apprears to have been two other children, Mary A. E. and brother Calvin Scott, born between the two children William and Milton. Does anyone have knowledge of this family? I do know that the did not live together in the later years,. don't know that they ever divorced. Thanks for any help.
