William Henry Harrison and Sina/Sarina Dillon 23 Oct 1826 I would like to find any info that would lead me to William's parents or siblings. Hi, Carrie, See MOORE, Mae DILLON, *DILLON/DILLION and Allied Families Volume III*, pp. 1699-1700, a family group sheet for Meshack PERDUE and wife Eleanor (Nellie) DILLON. Their youngest son Obediah, b. 1804, m1st Temperance DILLON, and m2nd Catherine DILLON, beside both is the notation, "dau. of William DILLON & wife Frances BLANKENSHIP." At the bottom of the page is a photo of the tombstone which states "IN MEMORY OF MASHACK PERDEW DIED 1836 AGED 80". At least, that's what I read it to be. There are other pages on which William and Frances BLANKENSHIP DILLON are mentioned. If you think it will be helpful, I'll go through the other pages and see if I find anything different, but not today... up to my ears! The three books were published posthumously within the last few years documenting Mae MOORE's research on the DILLON/DILLION families of Franklin CoVA. References are included. If you can't find a set to purchase, you might be able to borrow one from InterLibraryLoan through your local library (I'm assuming they don't have it on their shelves).
