The settler's map does not have the Leesville Dam. Pigg River orginates out of the Blue ridge Mountain above Calloway, travels through Rocky Mount south of route 40 East it crosses route 40 just east of Sandy Level in Pittsylvania County shortly afterwards, it joins the Roanoke/Staunton River a few miles east of the Smith Mt.
