I have published a new book containing the records of Franklin County soldiers in the Civil War and a question has been asked. This book is not a "rehash" of the information found in the Regimental Series. I did not use the Regimental Series for this information, this is much more detailed and this information came from several different sources, including microfilm and Library of Virginia records.
