Mt. Ivy is in Scruggs, Virginia. Don't blink to many times when passing through or you will miss it. NO, Scruggs is building up since the lake came in in the late 60's. They have grocery stores, shopping malls, they are now getting a library and YMCA. When I was growing up before the lake. Their was two or three little country stores. Now they have more businesses it seems than the town of Rocky Mount. FYI Mt. Ivy Christian Church 5120 Scruggs Road Moneta, Virginia 24121 540-721-5060 I don't think Scruggs has a post office yet. Their are P.O. in Wirtz, Moneta, and Smith Mountain Postal Branch. It seems Smith Mt. Lakes is growning as fast as computers.
