We have (meaning my brother) joined the HALE DNA research, and we are NOT descendants of Joseph HALE who d. in Patrick CoVA 1804. We are NOT descendants of Nicholas HALE of 1600s Lancaster CoVA. We are NOT descended from Edward HALE who d. Giles CoVA 1820. We are distant kin to Archelaus HALE, (3 markers off out of 37) and Thomas HALE, Rev. War soldier (4 markers off out of 37). Sometimes researchers refer to our branch as the "Turner's Creek HALEs". Hope this helps.
