    3. Now what is of interest is Sarah Hatcher born 1661 is married twice once to Matthew Turpin and then to Joseph Tanner ,thus these folks are my Cousin lines off William Hatcher born 1613 and died on swift creek Henrico Co. Va. and will also be cousin to my Choate lines and to my Renfro Lines. Sarah Hatcher is off the Lines of Edward Hatcher married to Mary Ward. Sarah hatcher's brother Edward Hatcher and his in law Robert Burton own lands on Tuckahoe Creek in 1680-1700 era. His neighbor is one Michael Johnson who died 1718 on Tuckahoe Creek lands in this time era are in Henrico Co. Va. Michael Johnson is the DNA that I match to on my Hudson Johnson lines who died in 1828 Dickson Co. Tn that are married to the Choate-Renfro Connections. Then they marry into the William Hatcher lines of Dickson and Humphreys County Tn. ----- Original Message ----- From: janethunter703@aol.com<mailto:janethunter703@aol.com> To: vafrankl@rootsweb.com<mailto:vafrankl@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 19, 2007 5:20 AM Subject: Re: [VAFRANKL] Rentfroes Hello Everyone, A branch of this Renfro family being discussed eventually wound up in Dade County Missouri, where they moved right in and in some cases intermarried with my Bird, Choate, Simmons & other families (and their fellow travelers) who had origins in Franklin County...via Robertson County TN (area around Cross Plains and east almost to White House on the Sumner County border -- deeds refer to Sulphur Fork of the Red River). The connections with the Renfros are found in many places in between and beyond, following various branches of these families hither and yon. The patriarch of this Dade County branch was Absalom Renfro, and wife Mary Penn. He is said to be the son of Lewis Renfro and Sarah Absalom, son of James Renfro and Lydia Harris, son of William Renfro and Elizabeth Cheney. I got this information from the following WorldConnect website which has an awful lot of documentation, though I have problems with the Quaker Pennsylvanians ending up in James City County VA (wayy over on the Chesapeake Bay), as is indicated. Maybe some of you can enlight me on this, though it makes sense with the Turpin connection. The following link is to Moses Renfro and (a) Hannah Rentfro and (b) Elizabeth Turpin. _http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=deloreswilley&id=I12882_ (http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=deloreswilley&id=I12882<http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=deloreswilley&id=I12882>) I have separate connections with the Turpin family, via my Bentleys in Powhatan Co. VA in the late 1700s, early 1800s. I have not researched any of the above Renfros, but thought you all might like all the information hidden in the above website (regardless of accuracy to which I can't attest).
