The only info I have is from Scott Co Death records that my James C Hale was son of Johnathan Hale .Johnathan Hale's death record lists age which made him born around 1796 and lists place of birth as Franklin Co,Va.Death record states that he was born to Richard and Mattilde (hard to Read ??)Hale .My brother has voluntered to do dna test for this but I am not sure which test to use .What company did you use?
