Hi Bob, I've been meaning to ask if you think the cabin built in 1824 as an improvement to Robert Hodges property is still there? I would love to visit it sometime. Unfortunately that sometime will have to be when I no longer have to care for my husband. I am his sole caregiver and that's now 24/7. He is having many little strokes which a recent MRI reveal have done a lot of damage. When he passes, I will return him to Clarksville, TN for burial. I will not go that far east and not make another trip to VA. If you recall he and I follow the example of our forefathers and are second cousins on both our Doss and Hodges lines. Then there is our Yount line.... I wrote the lady who was inquiring about her husband's descendency from Jesse Hodges. No response. Have you heard any more from her? Kay Moris
