Deed Book H, pg 235-236): The Deed Book mentions Seventy two and a half Acres lying and being in the County of Amherst on the North fork of fishing Creek and is part of a larger Track containing two hundred and ninety Acres that John Via dec'd left by will to his four Sons. Apparently David stayed in Amherst County for many years on this land - he (David) - has also been called "David VIER" in records in that county!
