I do have a Nancy Spangler born about 1830-1, died 1894 buried Martin Cemetery, Floyd Co., VA 1850 FCVA Census H625: Nancy 19 yo w/f, b. Floyd. Married Moses Martin on Dec. 14, 1853 in Floyd Co. He was born about 1826-7 and was a son of William Martin and Sarah E. Harris born Patrick Co., Va. died 1909. Here is the deed that identifies Nancy Spangler as the wife of John Martin.--Marla FCVA Deed Bk 7, p. 407, Jan 28, 1816 John Martin and Nancy his wife formerly Nancy Spangler of the Co. of Baldwin, State of Georgia to John Pinckard, one certain tract of land on the grassy fork of Snow Creek, 124 ac, bounded by Isham Belcher, Martin McGee and others, being the land the said Nancy out of her father's estate by commissioners, for the sum of 326 dollars, to them the said John & Nancy Martin paid by John Pinkard, the receipt whereof whereby acknowledged also all the right title and interest which we have or may hereafter have in the dower Estate of Elizabeth Hawkin's appointed her by the said commissioners above stated out of the lands of her deceased husband George Spangler's Estate of which the above tract is a part in consequence of which we do hereby freely convey to him the said John Pinkard. George was born 1749 and died before February 1794. He married on February 9, 1786 at Franklin County, Virginia to Mary Elizabeth Langdon daughter of John D. Langdon. Daniel Spangler, surety and Jesse Rentfro, minister. Their children: (1) Nancy (____ - ____) (2) Phoebe (____ - ____) (3) George (____ - ____) (4) Mary (Poly ?)
