    3. I am looking for information on William B. SCOTT and Julia Ann JONES from Franklin County. This is what I know: William B. SCOTT was born abt. 1813 in VA Julia Ann Jones was born abt. 1814 in VA 1835 - Their marriage bond was on 4 Nov. 1835 in Franklin County, VA, with Henry JONES as surety. I am not sure how Henry is related to Julia, possibly a brother. I believe her mother is named Mary, as there is a Mary JONES listed on the 1850 census with Julia's family. 1840 - William B. SCOTT is listed on the 1840 Franklin County census. 1850 - This family is on the 1850 census in Barren County, KY. Note: All their children are listed as being born in VA, including the youngest child, which means that they moved sometime in 1850 from VA to KY. William B. Scott, 37, b. in VA Juliann, 36, VA John O., 16, VA James D., 14, VA Nancy J., 12, VA Mary L., 10, VA William H., 7, VA Sophia M., 6, VA Judy E., 5, VA Josiah A., 3, VA Lucinda, 8 months, VA Mary Jones, 71, VA 1860 - This family is on the 1860 census in Allen County, KY (split from Barren County). After the 1860 census, I could only find 1 child, Willis, who was living with a family in MO. In later years, his obit showed that he was orphaned at a young age. He was born in 1854, so I am assuming that William and Julia died shortly after 1860. I am trying to find the parents of William B. Scott and Julia Ann Jones. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also, are there any records that may show the births of their children in the early to mid 1800's? Thank you, Leslie _________________________________________________________________ Help yourself to FREE treats served up daily at the Messenger Café.
