    3. It's "Late Night in the Virginia Room", an evening of virtual grave digging, ghost hunting and soul searching. Family historians know what we're talking about; it's called genealogy research. On Friday, October 26, at the Main Library, from 6:00pm-11:00pm, the Roanoke Public Libraries is hosting this special event for "Night Owl" researchers. Enjoy a night of research in the Virginia Room with complimentary pizza and refreshments. "Dead on the Web", a computer lab class exploring death and cemetery records on the Internet, will also be offered that evening. "Late Night" and "Dead on the Web" will be held at the Main Library, 706 S. Jefferson St, Roanoke, VA. Both are free and open to the public. Registration is required, as the library will not be open to the general public after regular hours. Call 540-853-2073 or email varoom@roanokeva.gov for more information and to register.
