Hi Folks - I'm seeking information on Lewis Hale who was born in Franklin County on 11 Sep 1742 and his wife, Mary Burwell, who was born in Franklin County in 1744. They were married in Franklin County in 1768 and apparently soon removed to Grayson County, VA where he died 02 Jul 1802 and she died 01 Sep 1809. I know of one child, William, born in Grayson County in 1771 and who married Lucy Stone. Any information on the Hale and Burwell families in Franklin County would be greatly appreciated.
