I am seeking information on a skirmish in VA where my g-grandmother's brother died in 1861. I was told that he died at "Kentucky, VA." I have tried to find where this might have been. A while back I was told there was a community named Kentuck in Pittsylvania Co. Does any one know if it is possible that there was a skirmish there at one time? This man was the only son in the family, and he had two children. His mother named them, and the sisters divided some property with the two children. I sure would like to find out if he is buried there or where he is. Margaret
