Hello: I have looking for some assistance with my Calloway/Callaway line. I have traced the line from Franklin County thru Montgomery ending in Pulaski but I need more info from Franklin. I know Edd and Abby had several kids but I am not having any luck finding them. My 3G grandfather was Len/Lon/Thomas/General (he was called all of these names on official documents) was born abt. 1858 in Franklin Co. He had a sister Catherine a few years older than him. Both of them married siblings in the Wade family. Both my Calloway/Callaway and Wade families are black so the information is limited prior to the 1870 census. Can someone help me? Give me a lead or a place where I can start looking? I know there is a Calloway City or Town in Franklin Co - does anyone have any info on this county?
